The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies that persons performing venue management services, namely, marketing and promotional activities, event sponsorship management, fundraising management, employee and venue attendee management, guest services, safety and security, exhibitions and trade show management, and management of food and beverage operations at a senior/executive level, have met the standards established by the certifier, as indicated by the completion of certifier's training requirements and the passing of an examination in venue management.
