The mark consists of a gold oval border which contains a second gold oval which forms the outline of a globe which contains blue parallels of latitude and meridians of longitude. The gold oval border also contains the letters and numbers EST. 1988, in black, of above the letters WBO, in red with black shadowing, above the words DIGNITY, DEMOCRACY and HONESTY, in black, separated by two raised periods in gold. All of the foregoing material within the gold oval border appears on a white background. The words WORLD BOXING ORGANIZATION appear beneath the gold oval border, in black, above the design ot two boxing gloves, in red and white outlined in black.
