The mark consists of a shield inside of one black circle and two red circles. In between and at the top of the two red circles are the words EDGEWOOD UNIVERSITY in black. In between and at the bottom of the two red circles are the words MADISON, WISCONSIN, USA in black. Inside of the black circle is a shield. The outside of the shield is formed by eight sections, four of which are black, and all of which are outlined in black. The inside of the shield is red and features a black Chi-Rho symbol below a black horizontal line that curves upward over the letter Rho. In the center of the letter Chi is a solid black diamond, to the left and right of which are black diamond outlines. Below the shield is banner outlined in black. Inside the banner are the words COR AD COR LOQUITUR in black.
