The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a cylindrical bag featuring a combination of the following elements that contrast with the main color or pattern of the rest of the bag, namely: (a) the base of the bag comprised of the entire bag floor and the bottom portions of both the side panels and lateral panels; (b) a wide horizontal band that extends around the top third of the bag parallel to the contrasting base that ends just before one of the side panels; (c) wide vertical bands on the main lateral panels that intersect with both the contrasting base and the horizontal band and extend up through the bag’s handles; (d) a wide horizontal band on the top portion of one side panel; (e) a wide band along one edge of the top of the bag that connects with the side panel horizontal band; (f) d-shaped trim of the main compartment opening at the top of the bag; and (g) the literal element "The North Face" and a design element consisting of three solid partial arcs placed on the circular side panels.
