The mark consists of the word "Pulse" where the "U" is replaced by an electrocardiogram to mimic the "U". The electrocardiogram runs through the letter's "P" and "L". The electrocardiogram has sharp points on each end of it along with sharp peaks. The font is written in the font "futuristic" to give it a unique look. The break in the middle of the "S" gives uniformity and to look like the other letters. The "E" is simplified with three lines that still mimic the rest of the letters that all have partitions in them.
