The mark consists of a motion mark of a roller coaster train consisting of four blue roller coaster cars from left to right ascending up and descending down a higher red roller coaster track positioned in the foreground before disappearing momentarily and then reappearing and from right to left ascending up and partially descending down a lower red roller coaster track positioned in the background before disappearing behind the higher roller coaster track. The red higher track portion is supported by a support frame in light blue, and the red lower track portion is supported by a supporting frame in light blue to the right and in the background, with two red pennant poles extending vertically from the higher track element, and a yellow sun partially obscured by both red track elements, and a series of blue waves extending longitudinally in front of the roller coaster elements, and a green palm tree extending vertically in front of the blue waves and to the right of the roller coaster lower track element, with the literal element "SANTA CRUZ BEACH BOARDWALK" in dark blue placed below all of the previous design elements, wherein the "SANTA CRUZ BEACH" literal element is positioned above the "BOARDWALK" literal element, and with all design elements and the literal element(s) placed upon a white background.
