The mark consists of A badge-type format with the words State of Texas appearing in white letters at the top of the mark on a red background. The mark also depicts a replican of the State of Texas flag in the middle portion of the mark with a star white in color on a blue background while the right side of the flag is equally divided in size between a white colored area that appears above an area colored in red as is the case in the colors of the State Flag of Texas. Appearing on both the blue and red backgrounds of the mark is a picture or drawing of an automobile colored in both black and with white outlines or accents. Directly beneath the automobile appears the agency name Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority in a ribbon like drawing appearing in white lettering on a black background. At the very bottom of the mark are groupings of red stars appearing in two groups of four to complete the mark design.
