The mark consists of the letters "NACIA" appearing at the top of the design in white with black lettering outline with the letters "N" and "A" curving inward toward the "C" and the letters "I" and "A" curving outward; below that line are three white 5-pointed stars centered with the middle star being slightly larger than the stars on either side; below that the words "NORTH AMERICAN CONFERENCE" is centered and in caps on a line and below the word "for" is centered and italicized and below that line are the words "INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS" which is centered and in caps and the mark is all contained within a black and grey image of emanating alternating black and grey rays from the bottom center of the image upward and to the left and right of the center.
