The mark consists of a circular emblem with the Marine Corps emblem consisting of an eagle with brown feathers and wings spread with a white scroll inscribed with "Semper Fidelis" in gold in its beak, a blue globe with green continents highlighting prominently the Americas and a metallic gray anchor positioned behind the globe wrapped in a golden rope all over a yellow field with a red inner band surrounding the central emblem with the text "MARINE CORPS" in bold uppercase golden-yellow letters outlined in a black border. There is an outermost golden-yellow ring with red text "Delaware County" and "Detachment 288" separated by two red stars on either side. There a bright red banner above the circular design extending outward on both sides in a flowing ribbon-like design outlined in gold and black with uppercase bold yellow text "TUN TAVERN".
