The mark consists of A single, solid, black coconut tree with a root base, slightly curved trunk, and five sets of leaves. Each set of leaves resemble the shape of hands; two sets of leaves representing a pair of hands on the left side, another two sets of leaves representing a second set of hands on the right side, and in the middle a single set of leaves representing a single hand. To the left of the coconut tree and below the leaves are five black triangles pointed downward, each triangle having negative space within. Between the spacing of the coconut tree and five triangles is are two words in the Hawaiian language: "LAULIMA NIAUPIO".
