The mark consists of two blue concentric circles with purple fill between the smaller inner and larger outer circles, and the word DERBY in white in all caps at the top between the inner and outer circles and the word WAREHOUSE in white in all caps at the bottom between the inner and outer circles. On the inside of the inner circle is black fill with three vertical white stripes, with the outer two stripes being thin and the inner being much wider. Inside the inner wide stripe is a blue star outlined in black at the top and the letters DW in black at the bottom. On top of the circles and spilling over into the outside area on the right and left are superimposed two roller skates, facing each other and meeting in the middle, just above the DW and below the star in the middle stripe. The roller skates are blue and outlined in black and have wings coming off the back, with three white dots on each next to three black horizontal laces.
