The mark consists of a left sided view of a pre-born bald baby showing one eye, the beginnings of a left ear, a left arm with a three fingered hand, and two legs, with the left leg partially blocking the right leg. An umbilical cord protrudes from the baby's belly. The background consists of two concentric circles in which the baby's head is in the middle. Most of the rest of the baby protrudes below the circles. The bottoms of the circles are blocked by the baby's chest. The background also has a horizontal band which protrudes from both sides of the baby's head and a vertical band which protrudes from the top of the baby's head. The bands are within the concentric circles and would form a cross but they do not intersect because the baby's head blocks that.
