It is a simple sling procedure and there are 1-2 other companies with similar sling devices; what I am asking for a trademark is that other doctors perform these slings for female incontinence under general anesthesia. I, however, place these slings under local and sometimes moderate sedation (no general anesthesia) using a single incision (like the solyx was designed for) which takes me 5-9 minutes on average as a quick, outpatient procedure with minimal risk.
