The mark consists of The words LOS CHRONIC ANGELES, with the word LOS on top, CHRONIC in the middle and ANGELES on the bottom. The letters in LOS CHRONIC ANGELES are all capitalized. The first letter L in LOS and A in ANGELES are in a script style, as well as the S ending LOS and and the S in ANGELES. The L in LOS extends above the O and S and the bottom of the L underscores the O and S. The A in ANGELES extends above the other letters and the outside foot of the A in ANGELES curls around in a clockwise fashion and tucks underneath the curl. The bottom of the S in each of LOS and ANGELES curls from the bottom of the S towards the center of the S. The letters in between are capitalized in a print font. The letters in CHRONIC are all the same vertical height with the exception of the R. The word CHRONIC sits in the center of the design in a rectangular octagon that looks like the shape of a coffin, with a dot on each end of the word CHRONIC in the middle of the C. On each end of the rectangular octagon on the outside of the octagon is a fleur de lis steeple like shape that consists of a pointed center that bulbs at the tip with 2 petals on each side of the center, the one closest to the tip pointing at a 45 degree angle away from the stem and curving slightly back toward the center and then the one furthest from the tip cresting backward toward the base and nearly touching it. The pointed fleur de lis is pointing toward the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position respectively on the circle. The R in the word CHRONIC bisects the lower line of the rectangular octagon and breaks it in the center of the image. Surrounding the word CHRONIC and the rectangular octagon are circles bisected by the rectangular octagon. There is an inner circle with designs and no words and an outer ring with leaves and words, including LOS at the top in the 12 O'Clock position in the circle and the word ANGELES in the six o'clock position of the outer ring. The outer circle has a thick line exterior border, followed by a thinner line and then a thick band that includes the word LOS at the top half (or 12 o'clock position) of the band with four three-tipped leaves pointing away from the top towards the C's in the word CHRONIC and the word ANGELES on the bottom of the band (the 6 o'clock position) of the circle with four three-tipped leaves pointing towards the C's in the word CHRONIC. Between the center section of the circle and the thick interior border of the circle is a thinner line that also is a circle bisected by the rectangular octagon. There is no other ornamentation in the outer circle besides the words and the leaves. In the inner circle are ornamental designs that originate in the center of each inner half circle and point towards the outer edges. In the top half of the circle is a ornamental design that looks like a fountain with a pointed steeple with a center point and then two curved petals or sprouts coming out of each side and then coming to a point, with a diamond beneath the bottom of the pointed steeple. Above the diamond and below the bottom of the steeple is a symmetrical ornamental design of waves that includes two cresting waves beneath the bottom of the steeple on each side and then waves going out from each crest with accenting ink marks. There are then straight lines coming from the wave design to the outer edge of the inner circle, of varying sizes, some continuous and some broken, for a total of 28 lines. On the bottom is a similar steeple and fountain design, but there is no diamond at the bottom, in place is the bottom of the R of the word CHRONIC. The bottom portion of the circle also has 28 lines (some broken) emanating from the design towards the outer edge of the inner circle. None of the lines emanating from the middle touch the edge of the circle or the fountain design.
