However, a wire is inserted inside the stylet attached to the inner part of the halo stylet. The proximal part of the wire is connected and spiraled around a pin. This pin can release and/or pull back the string with clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. This allows to steer and access the stylet inside the vertebral body in any direction. This will be extremely useful in complex compression fractures. After removing this stylet, the second specialized style is inserted. The distal portion of this stylet includes a supplementary component, encased with mesh material, designed to expand within the vertebral body by standard kyphoplasty balloon. The encased supplementary component helps to avoid medical cement leakage, further reinforces the vertebral body, increases the ability to restore natural vertebral body height and prevents future vertebral body collapse. The distal end of the trocar is equipped with parallel metal strains that can be expanded to create a balloon shape. After inserting the oval balloon, mesh and cement can be expanded, followed by removal of the proximal end of the needle.
