The mark consists of a hummingbird design in flight that is partially formed by a highly stylized design of a silhouette of a girl's body and wheelchair. The bottom tail feathers of the bird pass through the silhouette wheelchair's wheel from the top out through the right rim of the wheel. At the end of each bottom tail feather are three stylized words: "EDUCATE", "ADVOCATE", and "EMPOWER" (of which only the first letter is capitalized in the image), all horizontally stacked above each other. Superimposed onto the bird and forming the top of the wheelchair's wheel is the silhouette of a girl's body, of which the left side of the girl's head (or the rear of her head, from the side profile) forms into feathered hair. Towards the top, appearing at the right of the hummingbird's head, is the stylized wording "JKC LEGACY" (of which only JKC and the first letter of "LEGACY" are capitalized in the image).
