The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of packaging in the form of a bottle which features a transparent, drop-shaped central section which sits on a gold base that has prongs that hold the bottle in place. On the front side of the bottle and toward the top of the gilded neck are the words "L'OR DE JEAN MARTELL" and on the back of the side of the bottle and in the center of the gilded neck is a bird design. The stopper, which is also transparent, is in the shape of an inverse arch. The top of the stopper is flat and bears the letter "M" illuminated with a leaf designs in gold.
