The mark consists of The mark consists of: a stylized depiction of a Dacian draco banner facing right, with the word element "DAN AIR" in dark blue above the banner. The banner is curved like a tilde placed horizontally, extending from the wolf's open mouth at the right with its tongue visible to its tail on the left. The banner is divided into three sections that are twisted together in a candy cane-like pattern. Each section has its own color that evokes the Romanian national flag. The head is blue (Pantone P 99-8 C), the middle section is yellow (Pantone P 20-8 C), and the tail section is red (Pantone P 48-16 C). The colors are solid, but to give the impression of depth more darker colors are added at the bottom: dark blue (Pantone P 101-8 C), orange (Pantone P 37-8 C) and dark red (Pantone P 49-16 C). The design elements are arranged in a manner to create a cohesive and distinctive logo. Above the banner the words DAN AIR are written with capital letters and using the same dark blue color found in the banner (Pantone P 101-8 C). The name of the font is "Lato Black Italic". As a distinct feature, the upper part of the letter "D" is redrawn to resemble the Dacian draco's tale.
