Clockwise there is an N at twelve o'clock, an E at three o'clock, an S at six o'clock, and a W at nine o'clock. As if degrees on a compass there are degrees. Centrally located is the aforementioned eight-pointed star with larger points pointing to the N, E, S, and W. There are smaller points that point to a tiny ne, se, sw, and nw. Underneath the eight-pointed star are four concentric circles.
