A is placed at the top right using an upside-down "U" with a horizontal line through the middle so that it looks like a capital "A." M is placed at the bottom left using an upside-down "U" with a vertical line in the middle that only reaches halfway to the top of the "N" so that there is a gap in the line that allows it to be more distinguishable from an "N." U is placed at the bottom right of the logo. To read, the logo, it would be "NAMU" from the top left to the right, then from the bottom left to the right. At the bottom of NAMU, there is "ESSENCE" in capital letters.
