The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the services provided have met the certifier's requirements and standards for practice in the field of medical billing and coding, and that as such, has successfully passed a proctored examination prepared and reviewed by certifier, and has met other qualifications set by certifier which establish that such persons are competent and qualified to provide certified medical billing and coding services.
