The mark consists of the top fourth of a sundial showing the Roman numerals XI, XII and I with the top point of the hand of the sundial pointing at XII. Before and after each Roman numeral appears a decorative symbol and at the top of the arc lines are drawn evenly to indicate small fragments of time between each numeral. Emanating from the arc are two layers of individual rays appearing thicker at the base of the ray and curving to a tip in a representation of the sun.
