The mark consists of stylized black letters and numbers "JUNETEENTH LEGACY MOSAIC *JUNE 19, 1865" at the top/title and twelve (12) connected rectangular boxes of red and green outlined or bordered in black which form a rectangle around a larger, interior, center rectangular red box in the center with white lettering that contain " JUNETEENTH BECOMES A FEDERAL HOLIDAY JUNE 17, 2021 OFFICIALLY CALLED JUNETEENTH NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY". At the bottom of this large, center, interior rectangular red box is a black, elongated hexagon with white letters "What History Books Forgot We Will Always Remember!" Each exterior rectangular box contains a historical fact of Juneteenth in white lettering. The rectangular boxes on each corner of the exterior rectangle are red with white lettering. The entire mark is bordered in parchment.
