'Plastic fishing' is the name we gave to a beach cleanup activity, part of the Plastic Fisherman project, in which we use creativity and art to educate people about the dangers of marine plastic pollution. We use Plastic Fishing as a hashtag on our social media messaging, inviting people to join in: "Join us. Let's go #plasticfishing!" We also use 'plastic fishing' as the core activity of the Plastic Fisherman educational project. It's what the plastic fisherman and plastic fisherwoman do.
