The mark consists of A forearm and hand holding a bleeding heart lay vertical over the Ohio State flag. The colors of the flag are of the standard; dark blue inverse triangle with white stars within the triangle surrounding a white circle with a red smaller circle in its center then red for the two exterior stripes and white for the two interior stripes of the flag. The red strip in the middle of the flag is covered up by the hand and forearm. The heart in the hand of the forearm from the top has red in the two exterior arteries and pink in the two interior arteries. The base of the heart is red and pink with red blood vessels coming down from the arteries similar to roots of a tree. The pink borders these blood vessels and as you get further away from the blood vessels the pink turns to red then darker red. Streams of blood trail from the base of the heart down the middle of the forearm like roots of a tree and slightly down the left and right sides of the hand but stop before the wrist. The entire hand and forearm has a multicolored skin, swirling in a random indistinct fashion, of purple, red, green, light blue and brown. The white space surrounding the flag and bottom of the forearm is not significant to the mark.
