The mark consists of a square, divided in half horizontally, the top half of the square divided into four equal sections, the sections being colored, from left to right, black, brown, light blue and pink. The bottom half of the square is divided into six equal sections, the sections being colored, from left to right, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Over the top of the color blocks are the words "THE FRESH MARKET", each word is in white and the words are stacked on top of each other and centered within the block. There is a white square line around the words and the square is broken at the "F" and "H" in "FRESH", and broken again at the bottom center where there is a white leaf. The color white outside of the square is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
