The certification mark, as intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, is intended to certify that the services provided have been performed by persons that have completed educational course work requirements of the certifier, said course requirements relating to services in the field of finance and financial planning, which includes asset management, asset allocation, asset selection, investment performance and strategies, taxation of investment products, and retirement; and has completed the associated examinations administered by the certifier in a satisfactory manner, has agreed to adhere to the certifier's standards for professional responsibility, and has completed all continuing education requirements as set forth by the certifier.
