The mark consists of a flourished crest overlaying a pair of crossed pipe wrenches. The top of the crest has the phrase "THE MODERN DAY TRADESMAN" emblazoned on it in a stacked formation. The stylized words "MODERN DAY" is in large lettering. "THE" is between two dots and inside a spade-like shape border featuring large and small flourishes. The tip of the spade-like shape border features three elongated diamond-like shapes. Above and below "THE" are double horizontal lines. The top portion of the spade-like shape features a diamond-like shape with two curved wave-like shapes. The bottom portion of the spade-like shape are many short vertical lines arranged in a horizontal formation. "TRADESMAN" is in a horizontal-like border and is underlined and overlined. The bottom portion of the horizontal-like border are many short vertical lines arranged in a horizontal formation. Below this are various scattered dots and curved wave-like shapes of varying sizes. The very bottom portion of the spade-like border features a downward-like pointing arrow with flourishes at the top. Inside the arrow-like shape are three dots and the amalgamated monogram comprising the stylized letters "MDT". On each side, the outside the bottom left and right of the crest is a curved wave-like shape. On each side, the outside top left and right side of the crest is a small triangular-like shape with the peak extending outward. The black background is not part of the mark.
