The mark consists of a three dimensional configuration of an electronic cable connector housing having a substantially cylindrical body portion and a wire protector portion. The body portion includes two pairs of angularly spaced apart gumdrop-shaped divots. A first diametrically opposite pair of the divots has their blunted, base end oriented toward the back end of the plug from which a wire extends. A second diametrically opposite pair of divots, angularly spaced 90 degrees from the first pair, has their bunted base ends oriented toward the front end of the plug. Each divot has a substantially linear cross-sectional surface when the cross-sectional plane is taken diametrically through the housing perpendicular to the cylindrical axis of the housing. The wire protector portion includes substantially cylindrical sleeve having a number of spaced apart triangular and diamond shaped indentations creating the appearance of mesh rotating 45 degrees from the central axis of the sleeve.
