The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the land conservation or restoration product quality standard provided has met the qualification tests as described in the SRI By- Laws and replicated in the SRI Statement of Qualification: 1.Land conservation projects must apply to the Six Rivers Imitative (SRI) to become members and have been accepted and engaged contractually with the SRI as SRI 'Member Candidate'. as defined in the SRI By- Laws 2. Land conservation projects must be privately owned and closely held (not C-Corporations). 3. Land conservation projects must be operated by and actively managed by the owner. 4. Land Conservation Projects must have working agriculture as a component of purpose 5. The owner of Land conservation projects must commit to establishing governance describing succession. 6. Land conservation projects with forests must protect agriculture forest's sustained productivity through restricting harvest by a decadal percent of standing inventory. 7. Land conservation projects with Northern Oak Woodlands must agree that this wood product resource will not be harvested and sold off of the tract as a commodity (as defined by etc). 8. Land conservation projects must have potential for significant contribution to anadromous habitats. 9. Land conservation projects must have potential for significant contribution to local agricultural economies. 10. Land conservation project Candidates must agree to preserve riparian zones along anadromous streams from timber harvest. 11. Land conservation project Candidates must agree to preserve or reserve from agricultural private management no more than 10% of the candidate tract. 12. Land conservation project Candidates must qualify as 'At Risk of Loss' as per the SRI procedure and standards. 13. Land conservation project Candidates must agree to support SRI Ranking and non-compete. 14. Land conservation project Candidates must agree to accept the minimum conservation easement standards of Participation, Local Partners, Purpose, Language and Monitoring. 15. Land Restoration project Applicants must agree to convey a recorded conditional right of first refusal to the SRI. The SRI is not engaged in the production or marketing of the goods or services to which the mark is applied, except to advertise or promote recognition of the certification program or of the goods or services that meet the certification standards of the applicant.
