The irregular shaped rectangle is gold and outline on the outside and inside borders by think black lines; a small green hill, outlined in black appears in the left corner of the design; alternating gray and yellow rows appear on a small yellow hill outlined which is outline in gray and appears below the letter "H" in the term "HEARTLAND" and extends out to and below the gray castle; five red five point stars, outline in black appear outside and above the irregular shaped rectangle; two of these stars appear to the left of the letter "L" which extends above the rectangle and three stars appear to the right of the letter "L" and to the left of the letter "D".
