The mark consists of three concentric circles; the outer most circle is outlined in blue, the next one is shaded in yellow, and the inner most circle is outlined in blue and shaded in white. Inside the middle yellow circle is the phrase "FLORIDA KEYS" in blue, upper case letters on the top, with a star of life symbol represented by the rod of Asclepius shaded in white and a six pointed star shaded in blue on either end of the phrase.
