Providing training and education in the form of seminars and workshops in data science and computer technology; seminars and workshops about data science; seminars and workshops about social sciences and digital methodologies

Performing digital research and analysis (such as by applying data mining algorithms) for the purpose of researching various scholarly subjects of interest to the digital humanities. These subjects include culture (such as how different cultural groups use narrative and language), history (such as the scholarly study of how the world changes over time), literature and narrative (such as the scholarly study of composed texts), and linguistics (such as the study of language and its structure). Such research and analysis will be supported by computers and may be performed by participants engaged in collaborative computer programming with and for others in the nature of data hackathons. These hackathons will also be performed for the purpose of digital research and analysis
