The mark consists of a 3-dimensional rendering of the front and back sides of a round, graphic medallion. The top two renderings depict the front views of the medallion on which is a graphic design consisting of a rock laid horizontally on which is a resting human figure beneath a pine tree; below the rock are words "Yidan Prize"; superimposed over the graphic design is a geometric frame design representing a door, and in the upper half of which is a circle with a hole in the center. The bottom two renderings depict the rear or back views of the medallion on which is a graphic design of the spine of an opened book with its thirteen pages flared; on the top half of the medallion is a circle with a hole in the center; the rock and the geometric frame design n the middle form the Chinese characters "Yi" and "Dan" in an integrated manner. The shading appearing on the two left graphic views of the medallion is intended to depict the 3-dimensional nature of the medallion and does not represent any color.
