The mark consists of a steam ship facing left to right with three masts and two steam columns with steam coming out and blowing left to right. From left to right on the ship there is a shorter mast, two steam columns, the tallest mast, then on the far right is the shortest mast. Each mast has a flag at the top, there is a large American flag on the far right rear of the ship and all four flags are blowing in the wind indicating the movement of the ship from left to right. Two thirds of the way from left to right is a paddle wheel. Incorporated into the logo with the ship is a detailed ocean with choppy waves. Below the steam ship are the words "Son of a Gun" written in cursive at the bottom of the logo in much larger size. The ship sits over the "of a", fitting between "Son" and "Gun".
