The mark consists of a caricature of a running baseball player. The player is wearing a blue baseball cap outlined in black with a white logo spelling out the interlocking letters "BLC" in a scripted font. He has pink-tinged skin and white teeth in a black outlined mouth. His uniform is white with blue and gray piping and black marks on it to indicate creasing and he is wearing a blue undershirt with black marks to indicate creasing, and blue and black batting gloves. Emanating from the batting gloves are green lines indicating movement. On the uniform's chest are the interlocking letters "BLC" in blue scripted font and on the left sleeve is a square patch that is comprised of alternating red and white stripes, except for the second stripe from the top, which is blue. The white stripe at the top contains the blue wording "NATIONAL", the blue stripe contains five white stars, and the white stripe under the blue stripe contains the blue wording "BASEBALL". Centered in the patch - over the six remaining red and white alternating stripes - is a large white baseball with red seams. On the bottom white stripe is the wording "HALL OF FAME" in blue.
