A social media application that allows all members of social fraternities and sororities to manage and create their schedules. The app will be accessible on computers, tablets, and all iPhones and Androids. An organization within the Greek life community can request to "mix," or coordinate a social gathering, with other organizations within the Greek life community through the applications. Once the request has been made and accepted by the other parties involved, details of the party, such as date, time, and theme, can be worked out. Social Coordinator: Master Account Features The social coordinator of the Greek organization will hold a master account that will allow them to request to schedule a mixer with other master account holders. When social requests to mix with an organization on a date and their request is accepted, both socials can then go on planning the details of the party. While planning the details of the event, socials will be able to select a theme on their own or randomly generated through the app. They will also be able to select location, time and provide details such as numbers for sober rides to the party to each member of their organization. In addition, sobers can be chosen or randomly assigned through the app by the socials. This will allow every member to direct message the sober through the app as well as see the sober's picture and identify them when reviewing details of the event. When details are made, they can send a notification to every member of their organization. Socials can still go back and edit event details once it is sent out and can still add on other sororities and fraternities. They can also cancel events, and a notification will be sent out to their members. The socials can also send out reviews of the party schedules and suggestion forms to other members of their Greek organization. This will allow them to receive feedback on their social schedules as well as adjust their planning based off of the requests of their members. Socials will also have the ability to post on a homepage feed that is accessible to every member registered under that particular college's user base. On the homepage, posts can be made regarding philanthropy events, interfraternity sports events, charities, etc. by all members of the community. Socials will also have an inbox where they can be directly messaged by other users. They can also view "sober points" of each member which shows how many times a member has been a sober at an event. Member Account: While a member account of a Greek life organization will not grant permission to coordinate parties, they will be able to view their calendar as updates are sent out from their social. They will be able to view party details as well as being selected as a sober of the party. If selected as a sober to the party, their information will be provided in the details and people can direct message them if needed. Sobers will also be connected in a group chat for the night of that party so they can communicate with each other while monitoring the event. Members can also post on the home news feed page. They are also able to acquire sober points when they are assigned as a sober and the more points they have, the less likely they are to be randomly selected as a sober. They can directly message sobers for the night's event as well as direct message other accounts. Members will also be given the ability to send feedback and requests to their socials. IFC and Panhellenic The Inter fraternity Council and Panhellenic board of each college will be given access to the calendar via the app so that they can manage events taking place on campus. Summary The app allows sororities and fraternities on a college campus better plan social mixers. IFC and Panhellenic can more closely monitor the events occurring on campus through Greek life. Philanthropic events can be better advertised through the application. Outside businesses such as bus companies or t-shirt companies can advertise or link their products and services to the app so that they can be used in Greek life events. Sobers can be selected and easily contacted through the app by every member of the registered Greek organizations at the social mixer. Overall, the application will allow Greek life to become more close-knit on college campuses
