The mark consists of a stylized representation of the sun in four segments where, when looking at each segment in progression from left to right, the first segment is a filled in arc shape in goldenrod, the second segment is a rectangular shape in goldenrod with curved lateral edges and cantilevered protrusions on the leftmost side. The third wedge is a grey, rectangular shape with curved edges and a cantilevered protrusion on the leftmost side's northwest corner. The fourth wedge is a grey, filled in arc shape with a curved southern side and a cantilevered protrusion on the leftmost sides northwest corner. These wedges are used to represent the sun and sit atop a blue, three dimensional low height box with a base. The grey and goldenrod wedges forming a stylized representation of the sun also represent the "O" in "Optimal solar". The rest of the mark is comprised of the letters "P", "T", "I" ,"M", "A", and "L" in blue, lowercase script. Below the "ptimal" is the word "Solar" in grey script with a capitalized "S" and lowercased "olar".
