Furthermore, users can interact with the content by upvoting or down voting the video. We focus on community interaction and engagement by providing users with content that is relevant to them since it is content created by users in their relative area. The functionality of the application is as follows: A user records a video that is 1-15 seconds in length through their smartphone camera on the Surfboard application. The user then shares this video with other users within 1-15 miles using the mileage radius tool. Additionally, users interact with the video by either upvote (like) or downvote (dislike) a video. Users can also report inappropriate videos or videos they don't wish to see on their feed. Each time a video is viewed all the way through, it is given a loop (view). Via an extensive algorithm, videos become "trending" on the trending page
