The mark consists of an outer circle with the literal element "FIREGUARD" in all-cap font at the top and "TROPIC CRUST" in cursive font at the bottom extending slightly out of the outer circle, with lines extending inward from the top left, top right and middle bottom of the outer circle; within the outer circle are two smaller circles, within which are the literal elements "KEEPER OF" written vertically from bottom to top in all-cap font on the left hand side, and "THE FLAME" written vertically from top to bottom in all-cap font on the right hand side; within the two smaller circles are the literal elements "MAUI", written vertically from bottom to top in all-cap font on the left hand side, and "HAWAII", written vertically from top to bottom in all-cap font on the right hand side; a stylized image of a tiki head with flames extending upward from its head, with background showing through the eyebrows, nose, chin, forehead, head wear, and mouth; stylized images of two palm trees extending outward from the base of the tiki head into the two inner circles; a bold circle behind the tiki head with thin inner circle, within which is the stylized image of an ocean and skyline; and the stylized images of two waves extending outward from the outer bottom of the circle enclosing the tiki head.
