The mark consists of a dome in the shape of the Capitol building that is outlined in navy against a background that is cut diagonally with white and red. Below this shape there is a navy shape that is similar to a diamond, but has flat outer edges on both the left and righthand sides. Below the tip of the diamond-like shape is a red shape that is nearly a rectangle in form that extends beyond the navy shape on both the left and right side, this red shape would be a rectangle but for the fact that it ends in a pointed tip on both of its edges on the left and the right sides. Inside the red shape there is the word "CONGRESSIONAL" written in white, with a white star on the left and a white star on the right of the word. Below this the word "SPORTS" is written in white against the navy background and below that and also written in white are the words "FOR CHARITY". Below those words there is a white star that is near the bottom tip of the navy shape. On both the right and the lefthand side of the word "SPORTS" there are three red lines that are horizontally drawn, with the first one the longest, the second one under that slightly smaller, and the third one under that, smaller than both of the other two. The white background is used to show placement, and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
