The mark consists of an orange border circle with a black border inside the orange border, with the words "NJ CHEETAHS" in orange and black letters in an arc along the top interior of the circle, the words "FASTPITCH SOFTBALL" in orange and black letters in an arc along the bottom interior of the circle, and in the center of the circle is a smaller black circle with the stylized wording "CHEETAHS" in orange letters in the center of that black circle, with white stylized claws projecting above and below the word "CHEETAHS", and black stars on either side of the inner smaller black circle.
