The mark consists of a laurel wreath from which extend a sabre, a cannon sponge, a spear, a battleax and a set of stylized flags from England, Holland, France, Sweden and the revolutionary flag of the United States. In the lower, left-hand portion of the laurel wreath is the muzzle of a cannon and ribbon. On the lower right-hand side of the laurel wreath is a stylized depiction of the Declaration of Independence of the United States with a feather quill resting thereon. Beneath the Declaration of Independence is a sheathed sabre resting upon a striped portion of the revolutionary flag of the United States.
