All of the horizontal lines in the background of the rectangles in the mark alternate in the colors tan and brown, except that the horizontal lines in the Chinese character in the lower right alternate in gray and tan. The vertical lines in the rectangle behind "CATTYBRICK" alternate in two shades of brown. The remainder of the white in the mark represents background areas only and is not part of the mark.
