The mark consists of a blue banner wide at the left end and narrowing toward the right end and in which appears the word in orange "Michigan" overlaying the black image of the lower peninsula of the State of Michigan followed by the word in white "Proud" and beneath both words in white "Since 1982" with horizontal white lines at opposite ends of "Since 1982". The blue banner is bordered by an orange line which in turn is bordered by a white line and an orange line on the outside of the white line. A first red triangle projects upwardly adjacent the left end of the blue banner and has plural orange dots forming plural triangles inside the first red triangle. A second red triangle projects leftwardly from the left end of the blue banner and has plural orange dots forming a triangle inside the second red triangle. A third red triangle projects downwardly from the mid-portion of the bottom edge of the blue banner and has plural orange dots forming plural triangles inside the third red triangle.
