The mark consists of a golden and yellow cube projected isometrically, with its top face visible as well as two side faces. The top face is the brightest yellow, while the left side face is a slighly darker yellow, and the right side face is the darkest yellow of the three faces, as though shadowed. There is a hexagonal ring shaped gap between the cube and a orange hexagonal ring that surrounds the gap and cube. The orange hexagonal ring has a gap on the top left side, leading to the appearance of a geometrical "b" created by the hexagonal ring shaped gap and the gap in the orange hexagonal ring. To the right of the cube, hexagonal ring shaped gap, and orange hexagonal ring, there are the words "BOULDER ENGINEERING STUDIO", in all capital letters with each word on a separate line using the Montserrat font. The word "BOULDER" appears in the same orange as the orange hexagonal ring to its left, and the words "ENGINEERING" and "STUDIO" are in black. The word "ENGINEERING" is placed level to the middle of the hexagonal rings and the yellow cube, and the words "BOULDER" and "STUDIO" are placed above it and below respectively at equal distances.
