The mark consists of a stylized design of a Florian Cross placed on a circle with a red circumference and a blue background, the outside portion of the Florian Cross is in the color white with the wording and numbering "KEY LARGO FIRE DEPT. 24 25" in the color red. The inside portion of the Florian Cross consist of two circles, the outside circle has a circumference in the color white with a blue background and the words "DIVE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" in the color white. The inside circle has a circumference in the color red and the circle itself is divided in four quadrants by a black vertical line and a black and white scalloped line. The designs in the quadrants consists, clockwise from the top right, of a stylized Maltese cross in the color red with the letters "FD" in the color white on a white background; the Diver Down American Scuba design flag in the colors red and white; the design of the Star of Life in the color navy blue with the rod of Asclepius in the color white on a white background; and a personified mechanical tool in the colors white and black on a white background.
