The mark consists of three concentric circles, the outer most circle is outlined in blue, the next one is shaded in in white, and the inner most circle is outlined in blue and shaded in in white. Inside the middle white circle is the phrase 'KEY LARGO" in red, upper case letters on the top, with a red shaded circle on either end of the phrase. On the lower half of the middle white circle is the phrase "VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS" in red, upper case letters. Inside the inner circle is an image of a raising sun in yellow, with yellow sun rays, seen in the horizon, in the foreground are blue water waves, throughout the white shading of the circle, and a green hill on the left side of the water line, and a black shaded boat with two sails on the right side of the circle. In the center, on top of the sun is an image of a blue shaded life star with the white serpent symbol inside of it.
