The mark consists of two concentric ovals. The outer oval is outlined in black and shaded in gold. The inner oval is shaded in red and has a black outline with some black smudges extending inwards from the outline onto the red shading. A white, flying eagle is placed in the center of the ovals. It is outlined in black, and has black outlining for its feathers and facial features, a gold beak, gold feet and white claws. The eagle has a gold crown on its head with a closed off top and a cross on the peak the crown. The eagle is holding a motorcycle with its claws. The motorcycle image extends from the center of the inner oval downwards, past the outer oval's edge. It is also outlined in black and is shaded in white and blue throughout. A ribbon banner stretches over the lower sections of the ovals, going behind the front wheel of the motorcycle. The banner is outlined in black, and shaded in white on the top half and red on the bottom half, with some blue shading lines around the ends and curves of the ribbon. On the left side of the ribbon is the phrase "KOCHAM POLSKE" in black upper case letters, and other right side of the ribbon is the phrase "I TY JA KOCHAJ!" also in black, upper case letters. Above the image of the eagle, on top of the gold shading of the outer oval is the phrase "RAJD KATYNSKI" in black upper case letters, written along the inner edge of the oval. Above the outer oval is another ribbon banner, outlined in black and shaded in white, with some blue shading around the ends and curves of the ribbon. In the center of the ribbon is the phrase "PAMIEC I TOZSAMOSC" in upper case, blue letters.
