The mark consists of of a shield featuring a stylized letter "V" appearing across the shield and two interlocking keys serving to form the shape of a letter X and two horizontal lines appear across the shield. Appearing above the shield is a helmet which features three sections on top of each other to complete its shape. The top third section of the helmet is a bulbous shaped bun which spans the width of the helmet and features four vertical columns that run down to the middle section of the helmet. On each of these columns there are five horizontal lines that run across the width of each column and are spaced out on top of each other to highlight the space in between each horizontal line. The furthest column on the right has four horizontal lines that run across the width of this column and is spaced out to highlight the space in between each horizontal line. The middle section of the helmet is narrower at the top than the bun portion of the helmet and flares out towards the bottom of its section to meet the width of the bottom third section of the helmet. Within the borders of this middle section of the helmet is a line directly down the middle of the shape to create two sides which mirror each other. Towards the center of this middle section of the helmet, on each side, are circular jewel shapes which resemble a sun totaling two geometric circular shapes. On each jewel there is another circle around the jewel and ten small geometric circles which are placed around the center to resemble the rays of a sun to form the left jewel and eight small geometric circles placed around the center jewel to resemble the rays of a sun to form the jewel on the right side. On the bottom third section of the helmet are two sections which mirror each side which are split by a stylized lily shape with three sides. The bottom section of the helmet forms a wide W shape with the borders to incorporate the lily shape in the middle to form the natural division in the middle of this section of the helmet. On each side of the bottom section of the helmet located towards the upper portion of each end are circular jewels at the center with small circular circles around the jewel to resemble a sun with six rays. The faces of each jewel are facing upwards and outwards because of the placement of each jewel. One jewel faces North-West and the other jewel faces North-East. Towards the center of each of these sides of the bottom section of the helmet are symbols which resemble the Filipino Sun on the Filipino Flag which consists of a circle and eight rays extending out from the center circle. These Filipino Sun symbols may not be visible in the black and white copy of the logo as they are designed within the helmet in only color. At the very top, above the helmet, is rope-like shape which spans the width of the top section of the helmet and above this is an outstretched arm and hand holding a single arrow with the tip of the arrow pointing North-East. Around the helmet and shield are a series of stylized laurel wreaths which form a covering around the sides of the shield and across the top of the shield to provide a background for the helmet. The wreaths have a feather-like look and form an upside down U in complementing the shield and helmet. The rope-like shape at the top of the helmet is the point where the wreath and the helmet and shield intersect to complete their partnership.
